Four musicians, one founder member of Eater, and a set built for small rooms and loud nights.
Brian Chevette
From Eater to Chevette
Brian Chevette was a founder member of Eater, the North London band who formed in 1976 and were among the youngest on the first wave of British punk.
Today he fronts Chevette, singing and playing guitar alongside Harry Haddon on drums, Shea Togher on bass and Alex Williams on guitar. The band’s first EP was recorded with Kim Wallis at WaterRat Studios.
Gig posters bill them as “Chevette, with Brian from Eater”, and they have played The Dublin Castle in Camden and the Punk at 50 afternoon at The Half Moon in Putney.
